More Than A Word is a work in progress documentary by my brother and I that will take an unbiased look at the mascot controversy surrounding the Washington Redskins football team as well as the history and origins of the word and the psychological effects that stereotypes have on both Native Americans and non-Natives.
My brother and I are both half Sioux, enrolled on the Standing Rock Reservation in North Dakota.
